The Sr. Grants and ContractsAnalyst will coordinate activities related to sponsored projectsubmissions in the Department of Emergency Medicine. This positionreports to the Grants and Contracts Manager for the Department ofEmergency Medicine to ensure smooth and efficient functioning ofsponsored funding for the department. This position will preparegrant and contract proposals, and provide guidance in theinterpretation and implications of applicable grant terms andconditions. The position will work with the Office of ResearchAdministration (ORA) at the School of Medicine and external fundingagencies to process grant and contract applications. Additionally,the position is responsible for the management of post-awardactivities including the allocation of budgets, ensuring funds areexpended correctly according to university and grant guidelines,processing journal entries and cost transfers as needed,reconciling reports and financial data, and managing the closeoutand Financial Status Reporting process.
