Over 40 train passengers arrested

Ariyaratne said that of those arrested most of them had paid the fine while a few promised to pay the fine the next day. Over 40 train passengers were arrested today for travelling without tickets or switching from a lower class to a higher class train compartment without upgrading the ticket.Sri Lanka Railways General Manager B.A.P. Ariyaratne said that all those who were arrested were questioned at the Fort railway station.
